Monitor, report and advise on the application of safety and health principles regarding the movement of people and materials in and around a working place
     
General Safety for Managers 120344; NQF Level 4 worth 2 credits 2 days
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of relevant current occupational health and safety legislation 
     
Ohs Management Implementation Systems 259601; NQF Level 2 worth 2 credits 4 days
Participate in the implementation and evaluation of a safety and health management programme in the workplace 

All above training courses can be presented on-site for a minimum of 10 delegates. The accredited courses will also be available as part of our public offerings. All Affsaf courses are presented by competent facilitators experienced in Occupational Health and Safety.

Learner achievement will lead to the certification of those who have been assessed and proven competent against NQF registered unit standards.

The process:

  • Affsaf will train the learner; assess and moderate the formative and summative questions.
  • HWSeta will verify the outcome and endorse the learning achievement.
  • Affsaf will upload the information to the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) database.
  • Affsaf will issue the learners certificate against the registered unit standard.
  • Affsaf will record the learner achievements on the National Learner Record Database.

Costing:
Public rates - Normal daily rate is R1125 + vat per person per day. Assessment and Moderation cost R500 + vat per person.
On site - Special rates available on request for onsite groups for more than 10 learners.
